You can use the full benefit of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 only if you have a Windows Vista operating system and separate memory (RAM) for video and graphics. Your computer must have at least 4 GB of RAM and should have video and audio drivers that are compatible with Premiere Pro CS4. If you have problems capturing media, see Selecting Capture Devices in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Help.
Create and save an XML file with all your capture information. Export your project in XML format, and then change the format of your media. (If you have HDV videos in your project, you can only export HDV clips in XML format.) To create XML files for HDV projects, see Create an XML File for Your Capture Project in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Help. To edit XML files, see Edit XML Files in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Help.
In the Preview panel of Adobe Premiere Pro, the marker pane (the information window that displays your project and timeline settings) often shows incorrect information such as the wrong resolution, wrong frame rate, or incorrect position. This may occur when Adobe Premiere Pro mistakenly determines the resolution or frame rate of a clip. To correct the resolution or frame rate, right-click the clip in the Project panel, and then select Advanced.\" 7211a4ac4a
